2016 Camps for Air Force Youth and Families
One of the goals of the Air Force/4-H Partnership is to expand camping opportunities to support Active Duty, Air National Guard, and Air Force Reserve families. In 2016, 20 Air Force/4-H Camps were offered in 18 states providing a variety of educational, experiential, and fun-filled camping experiences. Air Force/4-H camps included both residential and day camps for youth, teens and even families that support a variety of interests including: STEM, college leadership, outdoor adventure, coastal exploration and much more. These fun 4-H camping experiences offered a variety of activities to help develop leadership skills, build resiliency, enhance communication, foster teamwork, expand interest in the sciences, prepare students for college, and introduce participants to 4-H programs.
