NAE4-HA Awards (Archive)

The 4-H Military Partnerships Award was established to recognize 4-H/ Extension staff for their work with United States Army Child, Youth & School Services, United States Air Force Child and Youth Programs, and United States Navy Child and Youth Programs to recognize the individual or team who has created a positive Extension image through his/her/their leadership and citizenship as it relates to the development of the 4-H Army, Air Force, or Navy partnerships on U.S. military installations and in the community as it pertains to National Guard and Reserve families and children.

Recipients of the 4-H Military Partnerships Award:

2013 - Delaware State Team

 

The Army Youth Development Award was established to recognize 4-H/ Extension staff for their work with United States Army Child, Youth & School Services staff and establishing 4-H opportunities for Army youth both on Garrisons and in local communities.  Extension staff work directly with Active Duty, Guard and Reserve components to provide educational opportunities and experiences for Army Youth through their work on Military 4-H Clubs and Operation: Military Kids.

The 4-H/Air Force Aim High Award was presented annually by 4-H National Headquarters and the United States Air Force Child and Youth Programs to recognize the work and accomplishments of an Extension youth development professional who works closely with AF Youth Programs and creates support for Air Guard and Air Reserve families in the community. The Air Force has a long-standing and valuable partnership with 4-H that provides access to the Land Grant Universities throughout the country and offers quality youth development opportunities.

The 4-H/Navy "Pledge" Award Recipient was presented annually by the 4-H National Headquarters and the United States Navy Child and Youth Programs to recognizes the work and accomplishments of an Extension youth development professional who works closely with Navy Youth Programs and creates support for Navy Reserve families in the community. The Navy has a long-standing and valuable partnership with 4-H that provides access to the Land Grant Universities throughout the country and offers quality youth development opportunities.
